Power Flushing reduces rust, sludge and scale within the system and also restores circulation and increases efficiency.
We recommended a Power Flush when you fit a new boiler to an existing heating system, the small components within the new style boilers become easily blocked by the rust and sludge that is circulating within your system and can reduce the life and performance of your brand-new boiler.
We connect the power flushing pump and magnetic filter to your heating system and cleaning chemicals are added through the pump, this is circulated through each radiator or under floor zone individually loosening and moving the deposits through the system. Once the whole system has been individually cleaned, we remove the cleaning chemicals by flushing water through the heating system. We then remove our pump and magnetic filter, adding specialist chemicals that remain in the system to prevent any build up in the future. Afterwards the magnetic filter shows exactly what corrosion has been removed from the system.
We generally recommend that a Magna Clean filter is fitted once a power flush has been completed. This filter is a smaller version of the magnet we connect when power flushing but remains connected to the system to ensure that no debris can end up caught in the small components of your boiler.
